Can the AI assistant find leads or local businesses for me?

Not out of the box. The AI assistant works inside the Votel platform, and Votel does not have a built-in lead or local business finder.

To get leads, either import them into the CRM from a CSV or Excel file, or connect a lead service under Connectors as an MCP connector. We recommend Apify and SerpApi; Apollo also works. Once a service is connected, you can ask the AI assistant to pull leads from it and build you a list.

Example: connect the Apify MCP, then tell the AI assistant to get all the businesses on Google Maps in an area that have poor reviews or no website widget, and to create them as contacts in your account. Apify's Google Maps tool costs about $1.50 per thousand businesses (charged by Apify), and Apify has thousands of tools, including around 27,000 for lead generation.
